CJP Broadcast Service Solutions, systems integration, production and content digitisation specialist, is now a registered supplier with NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium https://nwupc.ac.uk/) as a major media systems integrator. The framework makes it easy for more than 130 universities and public bodies in the UK to work with accredited suppliers, including CJP Broadcast.
NWUPC acts on behalf of 24 universities in the UK, and its agreements are available to all the other University Purchasing Consortia across the country, providing framework purchasing agreements across a range of products and services. The goal is to deliver value through responsible procurement, and a key part of this is ensuring that companies on its register meet the highest standards both in products and services, and in strict compliance with the regulations surrounding public sector procurement.
Acceptance by NWUPC means that CJP has demonstrated its commercial and technical capabilities. Effectively it has passed a demanding tender process. The resulting framework agreement means that members of all regional UPC frameworks can be sure that CJP is ready to deliver against their business and technical requirements. Because of the rigorous tender process to achieve certification, member organisations can then conduct a simplified tender process, reducing administrative effort and generating tangible cost savings.

We have shown time and again that we can deliver high quality systems against tight budgets and timescales. Even more important, we have helped many universities develop new facilities like virtual production and motion tracking for games helping them in turn give their students the best possible start in growing industries.
The framework agreement with NWUPC, in our own right, is a really important milestone for CJP, Phillips added. It shows formally that we are a trusted supplier in very specialised areas. With it, we can help universities achieve their goals, secure in the knowledge that we will deliver what we promise, within their commercial terms and in compliance with legislation. We look forward to creating even more opportunities for students to excel in future.
CJP has built virtual production facilities for a number of educational bodies in recent months, including the University of Sunderland, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of the Creative Arts. The new agreement with NWUPC is envisaged to run for an initial period of two years plus 2 years extension.
