ITV, Natwest & Pablo Unveil Winners of Backing Business Competition
Three Small Businesses Launch Debut TV Commercials
ITV, Natwest and Pablo have awarded three small enterprise competition winners a unique package of business support and media collaboration with their own bespoke TV advert.
The competition received over 700 entries from small businesses across the UK and the three winners are plantable greetings cards company Loop Loop, creative design programme Sisterhood which seeks to build confidence and self-esteem in girls, and The Little Loop, the UKs first rental marketplace for kids clothing. All three companies are making their TV debuts with individual adverts created by leading creative agency Pablo and tailored airtime broadcast across ITV.
The first advert broadcast, for Loop Loop, will be followed by Sisterhood's commercial which launches next week, and The Little Loop, highlighting three of the UK's extraordinary small businesses giving them a stage and a highly polished commercial that would ordinarily be out of reach for a business of this scale.
We received over 700 entries from small businesses across the UK, says Margaret Jobling, Chief Marketing Officer, NatWest. Every entrant had a brilliant story to tell about why their business was extraordinary, and we saw a real breadth of sectors and industries taking part. Arriving at our three winners was a really tough process, but we're so excited to partner with these businesses to create impactful adverts that will help their brands thrive, and we'd like to congratulate Loop Loop, Sisterhood and The Little Loop on their success.
Mark Trinder, ITV Director of Commercial Sales and Partnerships, said: There's so much talent and creativity in British small businesses, and through this partnership with Natwest and Pablo we've been able to make a huge change to the growth of these winning brands following a difficult time for a lot of SMEs. The ads that are being created are of an incredible quality and I'm sure will help these companies reach an enormous number of new customers.
It was remarkable how many examples of truly extraordinary businesses there were out there that wanted to be part of this project, we hope the three ads we are creating will make a real difference to the three winners involved. says Gareth Mercer, CEO of Pablo.
Sophie Bresnan, owner of Loop Loop said: I just wanted to send a huge THANK YOU for turning my small business into a beautiful TV advert. Im blown away with it.
About the winners:
Loop Loop
In response to the declining bee population and the plastic pollution challenge, Sophie Brenahan started Loop Loop to create plantable greetings cards. Embedded with wildflower seeds, once the card has been enjoyed it can be planted and live on.
Sisterhood
Sisterhood is a creative design programme that seeks to build confidence and self-esteem in young girls (aged 13-17). Sisterhood was started by Rachita Saraogi & Rebecca Thomson to help young girls realise their full potential so that they can become the leaders, creators and changemakers of tomorrow.
The Little Loop
The UKs first rental marketplace for kids clothing, The Little Loop was started by Charlotte Morley to help solve the challenge of textile waste and encourage consumers as well as fashion brands to think about their resources in a different way.
