S o Paulo, November 14, 2023 - The moment that fans have been waiting for has arrived. In the year that CCXP celebrates a decade, Netflix announces the very first participation of filmmaker Zack Snyder and producer Deborah Snyder at the convention. The global ensemble cast, including Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Staz Nair and E. Duffy will be joining the festivities in Brazil. They will all participate in a unique panel to celebrate the launch of Snyder's new epic adventure, the Netflix film Rebel Moon. Confirmed for Friday, December 1st, at 6pm, on the Thunder Stage, the panel will take fans straight into the universe of the biggest project of the filmmakers career, in an unforgettable show that includes the first global screening of Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, an action-packed visual spectacle.

The surprises dont stop there: outside the panel, fans will be able to discover and experience Rebel Moon through immersive experiences every day of CCXP 2023, with hyper-realistic replicas of the film. Meet the moon Veldt, which is the starting point of the plot; try a drink at the Providence bar; interact with creatures and characters from the film; get to know one of the ships from the saga; enjoy the original costumes; and win exclusive gifts. Oh, and those who attend CCXP will also be able to purchase new Rebel Moon products developed by partners such as Iron Studios and FanLab, which will have exclusive activations of the new Netflix film at their booths.

Wait, there is more. What if you could star in Rebel Moon? For the first time in the history of CCXP, Netflix will take fans inside the films trailer using technology developed specifically for this experience. It will be similar to that experienced by the actors on the film set, and the result is a personalized trailer with you as the newest Rebel Moon (and Zack Snyder's) star.

Known for blockbuster hits such as 300, Man of Steel and Army of the Dead, filmmaker Zack Snyder spent 20 years creating the entire Rebel Moon mythology and universe, with new planets, moons, languages, creatures and, of course, new heroes. The film is divided into two parts, with the first premiering on Netflix on December 22, 2023, and the second on April 19, 2024.

Synopsis:

After crash landing on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a stranger with a mysterious past, begins a new life among a peaceful settlement of farmers. But she soon becomes their only hope for survival when the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discover the farmers have unwittingly sold their crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher) - leaders of a fierce group of insurgents hunted by the Motherworld. Tasked with finding fighters who would risk their lives to defend the people of Veldt, Kora and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a tenderhearted farmer naive in the realities of war, journey to different worlds in search of the Bloodaxes, and assemble a small band of warriors who share a common need for redemption along the way: Kai (Charlie Hunnam), a pilot and gun for hire; General Titus (Djimon Hounsou), a legendary commander; Nemesis (Bae Doona), a master swordswoman; Tarak (Staz Nair), a captive with a regal past; and Milius (E. Duffy), a resistance fighter. Back on Veldt, Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins), an ancient mechanized protector hiding in the wings, awakens with a new purpose. But the newly formed revolutionaries must learn to trust each other and fight as one before the armies of the Motherworld come to destroy them all.
