(arvato Systems) G tersloh The Full IT outsourcing project with STIEBEL ELTRON' has been successfully completed and put into regular operation just ten months after the contract was signed.

In June of last year STIEBEL ELTRON opted for a new provider as part of a new tendering process for an extensive IT outsourcing project and arvato Systems placed the winning bid. It has already become clear in the first ten-month phase of the project that the decision to enter into a long-term partnership with arvato Systems was the right one.

Migrating extensive IT outsourcing solutions from the previous service provider to arvato Systems meant a complete overhaul of the backend infrastructure. The solution includes the user helpdesk, client and workplace services, messaging and collaboration services, network services, as well as application services in the SAP and non-SAP sector.

All services will be managed and provided centrally by arvato Systems in G tersloh, with only systems required locally remaining on site.

The range of services does not only include management of STIEBEL ELTRON systems and locations across Germany, but also the integration of overseas facilities throughout Europe and Asia. Furthermore, arvato Systems will coordinate additional services contributed by IT specialist Bechtle to the end-to-end STIEBEL ELTRON service package.

Alongside the professional expertise required to set up and migrate the technical systems, the success of the project also depended on arvato Systems and STIEBEL ELTRON working closely together in a spirit of partnership. A culture of communication on an even footing and, above all, flexibility in shaping the solution meant that the collaboration always ran smoothly.
