TV Red Digital Chooses Anevia and Viaccess-Orca for New OTT TV Platform

Anevia, a leading provider of OTT and IPTV software solutions, and Viaccess-Orca (VO), a global leader providing OTT, TV platforms and content protection, announce the start of a complete OTT TV platform for TV Red Digital in the Colombian capital, Bogota.

TV Red Digital will operate the new platform as the core of a white-label OTT TV resource which will be made available to Colombian internet service providers. Anevia will provide a headend comprising Genova encoders, NEA-Live origin packagers and NEA-CDN network management. This consolidated solution will be integrated with Viaccess-Orca's TV platform, VO DRM and VO Secure player. TV Red Digital is already serving 35 ISPs with a combined potential subscriber base of 50,000 viewers who will gain access to a wide range of new programmes.

This new investment will allow our ISP customers throughout Colombia to offer next-generation TV services, including a wide choice of content with pre-approved rights distribution, from all the main programmers to all of their subscribers, comments Days Velazco, Executive Director, TV Red Digital. Anevia's software integrated with VO's solutions was a logical choice as an industry-proven technology which will enhance the quality of our TV content delivery and maximise our own operational efficiency.
