Memnon, the global media preservation and migration services provider, has appointed Catherine Laferriere-Vitali as its new global head of sales. She steps up from her previous role with Memnon as head of sales and international content licensing for Europe, which she has held since joining the company in 2018.
With more than 20 years' experience and a proven track record at Memnon, Catherine is the perfect fit to lead the company's global sales efforts and assemble an industry-leading sales team to better serve Memnon's international customers.
Having previously worked primarily in the European market, Catherine's remit now expands globally, as she'll be creating a sales team to explore partnerships around the globe, as well as to provide more support for customers by appointing additional account managers throughout the regions. The team will ensure all clients are well taken care of, regardless of location. As the company continues to expand and build relationships globally, the aim is to provide a more dedicated customer service, and enable a faster, and efficient communication funnel.
I've known Catherine for a long time, and I wholeheartedly believe she's the perfect candidate for this role , saidHeidi Shakespeare, CEO at Memnon. Her accomplishments over the years coupled with a deep passion for the archiving industry, as well as continued success in recruiting and developing sales teams, mean she's perfectly positioned to take Memnon to that next level. Catherine is well-known in the industry having previously worked at ITN and having gained experience in customer and people management and business development, as well as having considerable involvement in video content distribution and licensing.
