BANGKOK, 19 August, 2020 - Netflix, the world's leading entertainment service, announces the global release of Hope Frozen: A Quest To Live Twice. The award-winning documentary feature from Thailand directed by journalist-filmmaker Pailin Wedel, will be available on service starting September 15.

This documentary film takes the audience to a heart-rending journey with Thai Buddhist parents who decide to have Einz, their two-year-old daughter cryonically frozen on the day she passed away from brain cancer. Einz becomes the world's youngest person to undergo cryo-preservation.

It's been an emotional journey to cover Einz's family on their biggest decision and dedication for their daughter. Witnessing the pivotal moments that the family went through was a privilege and a mind-expanding experience. Their story has led me to ask fundamental questions about life, faith, and love. Hope Frozen directed by Pailin Wedel has been recognized with numerous international awards. Her documentary won Best International Feature Documentary at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival 2019. At San Antonio Independent Film Festival 2020, Pailin won Best Documentary Feature for her documentary from more than 900 films that were presented.

The Netflix edition of Hope Frozen will reveal unseen footage of Einz's family archive. The documentary feature will be available in 31 languages including dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Italian, Latin Spanish, Polish, Spanish (Castilian), Thai and Turkish.
