Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in comprehensive and complete system solutions for 5G monitoring and testing, is set to showcase its latest innovations catering specifically to the needs of regulatory authorities, network operators, and the evolving demands of 5G technology at Mobile World Congress 2025.

Its enhanced spectrum monitoring portfolio, covering the entire 5G frequency range, will be unveiled for the first time. This expansion is designed to meet all regulatory requirements, ensuring that authorities have the tools necessary for effective spectrum management. Notable additions to the portfolio include the R&S CS-MC53 Microwave Converter, which extends the frequency range of both the R&S TMS Compact Monitoring transportable monitoring systems and the R&S ESMW ultra-wideband monitoring receiver to 53 GHz. Furthermore, the R&S ADD507 Compact DF Antenna is now available up to 8 GHz, and the R&S ESMW has been enhanced with time domain measurements, further bolstering monitoring capabilities.
For mobile network testing, Rohde & Schwarz will highlight the R&S QualiProbe / R&S LCM Probe in combination. This solution provides instant insight into network performance, making it easy to proactively identify and quickly resolve potential problems. This showcase also underscores the companys expertise in performing complex Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) measurements tailored to the unique requirements of 5G networks.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to discover the future of broadcast technology with 5G Broadcast, offering seamless rich data distribution to mobile devices. This innovation addresses innovative applications such as venue casting, emergency alerts, and advanced solutions for terrestrial positioning, navigation, and timing, now accessible with the first commercial mobile devices on the market.
To address network visibility, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate a solution for real-time IP network traffic visibility even for encrypted, obfuscated, and anonymized traffic flows with next-gen deep packet inspection (DPI) technology from ipoque. R&S PACE 2 ensures advanced network intelligence to facilitate prompt decision-making, to enable superior network and subscriber quality and to safeguard networks from cyberthreats.
