FORUM Will Implement one of the More Advanced Services Platform in Chile with Cisco Technology The agreement includes Unified Computing System (UCS) platform of Cisco to implement their new business application, becoming one of the most modern financial institutions of the country

Santiago, Chile, May 21, 2015. - FORUM, a leading international automotive funding Company, belonging to BBVA group, selected Cisco as an ally to implement their new world class business management platform in order to offer a first class service to their clients and to the market in general, ensuring the operational continuity of all their transactions.

The project includes the Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS ) platform, , which unifies computing, networking, solid-state application acceleration technology and systems management into a single integrated architecture, developed by Cisco, that now is being used by the main cloud providers in Chile.

Cisco is a leader company in the IT platforms market, and it has been an important provider of our solutions for a long time. Their UCS solution satisfies the performance and availability requirements of our new business platform, also provides flexibility and scalability with an innovative concept of convergence and unification that allows the decrease of the quantity of components in the solutions, thereby reducing costs and simplifying the provisioning and administration tasks of the platform, said Astrid Contreras, Operation and Technology manager, BBVA Forum.
