LOS ANGELES (December 5, 2018) - Qube Cinema, the world's leading provider of end-to-end digital cinema technology, partnered with the 33rd Mar del Plata International Film Festival which was held in Argentina from November 8 -18. Qube Wire was the official choice for DCP digital delivery and content distribution.

The 33rd Mar del Plata International Film Festival is organized by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts, INCAA, and is accredited by the F d ration International des Associations des Producteurs de Films (FIAPF). Its main venue is the Auditorium Theatre - located at Boulevard Mar timo, city of Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires - where the opening gala, closing night and official competition screenings were held.

The festival included the International Feature Films Competition, the Latin American Competitions (features and short films), the Argentine Competitions (feature and short films), the Altered States Competition and the Work In Progress section for Argentine productions. This was in addition to various sidebar screenings and retrospectives.

This year the festival consisted of more than 400 screenings across 10 venues. There were almost 300 titles chosen from 35 countries. There were also many special activities, including master classes by Lucrecia Martel, Jean-Pierre L aud, Valeria Sarmiento, Patricia Mazuy, L os Carax and Mark Berger.

Overall, we had a great experience using Qube Wire.
