Presteigne Appoints Stephen Ratcliff as New Head of Sales
Broadcast hire specialists, Presteigne, have announced the appointment of Stephen Ratcliff as the company's new Head of Sales, a move which further enhances the senior team and cements the firm's ambitious plans for future growth.
Upon taking up the role in August, Stephen will be responsible for overseeing all revenue generating activity at Presteigne. As part of the senior management team, Stephen will also be working closely with the Hire team, the Projects team and with Presteigne's international partners in Paris and Hilversum.
Stephen brings with him over 26 years industry experience, having most recently worked at EMG, where he was Pool Manager. Prior to this, he gained substantial experience across the broadcast rental market working for a number of its leading players.
This hire is the latest exciting development at Presteigne, following several years of substantial investment across its portfolio covering video, audio, RF and systems solutions. Presteigne operate from two bases in the UK: one near Gatwick Airport serving the London area, the South, the Midlands and Wales, and one in Warrington serving Manchester, the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Commenting on the appointment, Adrian Young, CEO of Presteigne said I am really pleased to have been able to bring Stephen on board; it's rare that you find someone who has Stephens range of experience on both the customer and supplier side as well as his depth of knowledge of the rental space. I have no doubt he will help me and the team drive Presteigne forward over the next few years.
On his new role at Presteigne, Stephen commented, I am genuinely excited to be joining Presteigne at a time when the business is benefitting from a sustained period of investment and is well-placed to meet the growing demand of a busy market that has bounced back strongly from the impact of Covid-19.
