Sharjah Media Centre conducted on Tuesday a workshop on how to use the logo of Sharjah Islamic Culture Capital 2014 (SICC 2014). The workshop, which was aimed at the proper and consistent use of the logo in all communication materials, was attended by representatives from 40 Sharjah government entities.
The workshop highlighted the implications of the logo and its geometric shape, which consists of the Arabic name of the event, as well as the implications of the colors, which are inspired by ancient Islamic paintings.
The workshop educated the government representatives on how to use the logo and its colors in newspapers, publications and e-mails. It stressed the importance of using the SICC 2014 logo properly in the media to ensure that it maintain its strong presence and reach the public in the approved form. The SMC workshop also included a presentation of models, applications and examples of the logo to clarify the standards of quality.
