Nonku Williams has viewers wondering if she is a villian or misunderstood on RHOD?

When you think of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Durban, there were three standouts; they were Ayanda Ncwane who was stylish,Sorisha Naidoo the definition of humble and Nonku who threw the best shade but had viewers wondering is Nonku Williams the villain or friend when it comes to the ladies?

When you fast-forward to the current season, Ayanda is no longer part of the show, Sorisha is still humble with some sassiness and Nonku well, the wit is still there but not everyone is loving her this time around

We all know that when it comes to reality television especially within the Real Housewives franchises, it cannot be kumbaya all season long otherwise it would not make great television.

Image via Twitter @TheRealNonku Nonku's questionable actions The question is when the character's actions become vindictive do we consider this as just entertainment or just being a mean girl? This is what has confused viewers when it comes to Nonku's actions.

This season viewers according to Zalebs have been calling out the self-proclaimed wine connoisseur' for her bully tactics towards fellow cast members especially Slee, who was introduced to the group by Nonku . Her introduction of Slee to the group was not a friendly one as it was clear that Nonku was ready to turn her back on Slee on a Monday and then claim to be her friend on a Tuesday. This is why viewers are struggling to decide if Nonku is a villain or is she just doing it for television?

This was also seen in season 1 with her interactions with Ayanda Ncwane who she shared a baby daddy with. She was the spokesperson for peace after her famous line, Ayanda do you know me at the premiere episode of the show. She went out of her way to befriend Ayanda and then turned around and humiliated her at the season one reunion.

Nonku Williams the villain or the friend? This pattern repeated itself with Slee who unlike Ayanda fought back by elegantly walking away at times or giving Nonku the cold treatment. On the other hand there were cast members who she has had issues since the beginning such as Annie Mthembu, her interactions with Annie might be civil at time but she does not make the effort of waving the white flat. Could this be the real Nonku and she is just playing pretend with the other cast members?

The viewers of the show can all agree either way she does make great television. The opinions regarding her actions might be negative but the show might be a little less entertaining without her and the occasional cameos by her mother The Queen.
