
New hires from Millennial Media, Yahoo! and Tremor
London, 24 February, 2017 - SpotX, the video inventory management platform for media owners, is growing its demand team for the UK and Southern Europe with the appointments of Natalie Stanley as Demand Facilitation Director, Tom Purcell as Client Development Manager and Hannah Asante as Demand Operations Coordinator. The three will advise buyers, including brands, their agencies and demand-side platforms (DSPs), on inventory in the SpotX platform.
Natalie Stanley brings five years of mobile advertising experience from Millennial Media to her new role. Tom Purcell has seven years of advertising industry experience and Hannah Asante has a background in telecommunications. They will report into Ian Harman, appointed last year as the new Head of Demand for the UK and Southern Europe.
SpotX's demand team supports buyers in identifying inventory opportunities for their video campaigns including private marketplaces and Curated Marketplaces, which group inventory from multiple publishers, pre-filtered by specific themes such as viewability or audience attributes, to offer an efficient opportunity for advertisers at scale with just one DealID. They will also advise on connected TV advertising such as campaigns tailored to streaming services like Apple TV and Chromecast, game consoles, smart TVs and other connected devices.
Commenting on the appointments, Ian Harman, Head of Demand for the UK and Southern Europe explains, Natalie Stanley brings a wealth of buy-side experience to SpotX including several years of deep mobile advertising knowledge gained at Millennial Media, acquired by AOL then Verizon. This will be very useful in advising buyers on mobile opportunities such as Curated Marketplaces across connected devices. She is joined by Tom Purcell who has also worked at Millennial Media - as well as Yahoo!, Tremor and Channel4. He is well-versed in explaining video advertising opportunities, bringing a detail-oriented focus and commitment to client service. Hannah Asante will provide us with telco experience which will be valuable as the worlds of digital advertising, television and telecoms continue to merge.''

Prior to Millennial Media, Natalie managed partnerships with agencies including OMD and Arena as Digital Account Executive at Selective Media. Her latest role as Agency Senior Sales Manager at Millennial Media saw her managing campaigns for brands including Toyota, Microsoft and Kellogg's. Tom joins SpotX from Yahoo! where he was Sales Account Manager working across their digital product suite. Prior to this he worked as an Account Manager at Tremor Video, VideoHub and Millennial Media which followed a stint at Channel 4.
