What's Next for Netflix Games

Its been just two years since we announced our ambition to make Netflix a destination for must-play games. While we're still early in the journey, this last year we made foundational strides toward this goal.

For starters, we:

Launched 40 games. That includes Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, arriving on Netflix tomorrow, as well as titles like Football Manager 24 Mobile and Storyteller, which our members have been loving. We're committed to building a portfolio with variety and breadth so eventually all of our members can find a game on Netflix they love.

Debuted our first two internally developed games: Night School's Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, which was recently named one of the year's best games, and Boss Fight Entertainment's Netflix Stories: Love is Blind, the first chapter in what will be an ever-growing catalog of interactive fiction based on our beloved series and movies.

Took the first step towards our long-term vision to make games playable on every device by rolling out a test for games on TV and computers in the US, UK and Canada. We'll continue to roll this experience out to other countries and add new games to test as we go.

Recently updated the games row so it's more tailored to you. Netflix is all about helping members discover series, films and games that you love. With a more robust games catalog, we're now curating the mobile games row so it's most relevant for each member. As we grow our games selection and more members play our games, these recommendations will evolve and improve over time.

By year's end, we'll have 86 games available -all included with every Netflix membership without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees. And with nearly 90 more games in development, we're just getting started.

We can share more today about four of those games, which are coming in 2024, including the sequel to beloved life sim Cozy Grove, from our internal studio Spry Fox, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit.

Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit - Coming 2024

Dress up diverse models, create stunning outfits, and compete against others in glamorous challenges. Show off your creativity, earn rewards, and make your mark.

Game Dev Tycoon - Coming 2024

Replay the history of the gaming industry by starting your own video game development company in the 80s. Research new technologies and run your business. Create best-selling games and gain worldwide fans. New in the exclusive Netflix edition: Develop games based on some of your favorite films and TV series. Test your decision-making skills in bespoke story events and explore marketing opportunities with content creators.

Sonic Mania Plus - Coming 2024

Exclusive to Netflix Games and on mobile for the first time, experience the ultimate celebration of past and future in Sonic Mania Plus. Multiple playable characters give you the ability to go explosively fast as Sonic, soar as Tails, or power through tough obstacles with Knuckles' brute strength. You can relive the Sonic of the past with an exciting new twist on classic zones while fighting against new bosses and Dr. Eggman's evil robot army. The Rise Of The Golden Idol

A Rebel Moon game developed by Super Evil Megacorp. The game will take place following the events of Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire and Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver. Choose your rebel and join the fight in this four-player co-op action game.

A game set in the universe of Squid Game, in which you can compete with other players in games from the hit series.
