Weihnachtstrucker fahren erstmals auch die Ukraine an
Schaeffler schickt 430 P ckchen auf die Reise nach S dosteuropa
Nahrungs- und Hygieneartikel werden an Bed rftige verteilt
Neue Zusammenarbeit mit Deutsch-Ukrainischem Forum
Bereits zum 13. Mal in Folge schickt Schaeffler Weihnachtspakete mit den Johanniter-Weihnachtstruckern an Bed rftige. Organisiert wird die ehrenamtliche Aktion allj hrlich vom Betriebsrat und der Jugend- und Auszubildendenvertretung von Schaeffler. Neben s dosteurop ischen Zielen, welche bereits in den Vorjahren angefahren wurden, ist 2017 nun erstmalig auch die Ukraine dabei.
430 P ckchen wurden von Schaeffler-Mitarbeitern liebevoll zusammengestellt, gepackt und geschn rt, um sie notleidenden Familien in Albanien, Bosnien-Herzegowina, Rum nien sowie in der Ukraine zukommen zu lassen. In ihnen befinden sich Grundnahrungsmittel wie Mehl, Reis und l, aber auch Hygieneartikel wie Handcremes und Duschgele. Nat rlich d rfen in einem Weihnachtspaket auch Kekse, Schokolade und ein kleines Geschenk f r die Kinder nicht fehlen. Gerade zu Weihnachten wird vielen bewusst, dass es Menschen gibt, denen es schlechter geht als uns , sagt Betriebsrat Norbert Lamm. Durch diese Aktion ist es uns m glich, wenigstens ein paar von ihnen ein L cheln ins Gesicht zu zaubern. Werk- und Personalleitung unterst tzen die Aktion zus tzlich mit 1.000 Euro Spritgeld, dazu kommt der von Schaeffler-Mitarbeitern geleistete Spendenbeitrag aus der Sammelbox.
Bereits seit 1994 findet diese Aktion der Johanniter allj hrlich statt. Die Weihnachtstrucks brechen am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag in Kolonne mit den gesammelten Hilfspaketen Richtung S dosteuropa auf. Mit den ganzen Lkw und Begleitfahrzeugen kommt der Konvoi auf eine Gesamtl nge von gut drei Kilometer , erz hlt Lorand Sz szner von der Auslandshilfe der Johanniter. In diesem Jahr f hrt die Route der Trucks erstmals in die Ukraine. Die Idee entstand in Zusammenarbeit von Schaeffler und dem Deutsch-Ukrainischen Forum. In der Zentralukraine und in den ostukrainischen Konfliktgebieten werden, unterst tzt durch die Baptistengemeinde der Stadt Shitomir, verschiedene Kinderheime und -einrichtungen Empf nger von rund 1.200 P ckchen sein.
Mehr als 270 Verteilstellen in den verschiedenen L ndern fahren die Lastwagen an. Ziele sind D rfer und Siedlungen, die von extremer Not gekennzeichnet sind und jedes Jahr neu ausgew hlt werden. Die ehrenamtlichen Helferinnen und Helfer berreichen in Einrichtungen wie Schulen, Kinderg rten, Armenk chen und Alten- und Kinderheimen die Weihnachtspakete und setzen damit ein Zeichen der N chstenliebe und der Hoffnung f r bed rftige Menschen.
