ES Broadcast opens new hire office in Brussels posted: 26/02/2018

ES Broadcast Hire has announced the opening of a new office in Brussels, Belgium, bringing the live production equipment hire specialist's offices in the UK and Europe to a total of five. The office opens with immediate effect. The decision to open the Belgian branch follows on the heels of the opening of a Spanish office in Madrid in June 2017. ES Broadcast Hire also has locations in London (Watford), Manchester and Munich.
Current European Sales Director Charles Alexis will assume the role of Managing Director of the Belgium office, combining this with his role leading the company's Munich operation. Meanwhile, Vicky Bonte will also be joining the new office, as hire coordinator.
The new office, which will be located in the Nossegem suburb of the Belgian capital, will offer ES Broadcast Hire's full catalogue of HD and 4K broadcast equipment and will service the Benelux market, as well as northern France and northern Germany.
Warren Taggart, Managing Director of ES Broadcast Hire, said: The opening of a Belgium office is the next step in our plan to offer the premier 4K broadcast rental service in Europe. The size and quality of our 4K fleet is already second-to-none in Europe, if not the world.
On the back of the major technology investments the company has made, ensuring we have a network of local offices run by industry experts is a key element of our ongoing strategy for growth. Establishing this service in Belgium helps us to meet the needs of customers in the Benelux countries and beyond, giving them much easier access to cutting-edge 4K technology.
The addition of a fifth UK and European hire office is the latest development in a busy few months for ES Broadcast Hire, following a number of significant equipment purchases. Additions to the company's inventory include 100 Sony HDC-4300 4K camera channels, 11 Fujinon UA27 and 22 Fujinon UA107 4K box lenses, 10 Canon UJ90 4K box lenses and 20 each of Canon CJ12 and CJ20 4K ENG lenses, as well as Grass Valley LDX 86N 4K camera channels and Sony HDC-4800 super slow motion 4K camera channels.
Meanwhile, Bego a Alvaro Varela is to join ES Broadcast Hire's office in Madrid, as hire coordinator. She will support branch manager Marta del Moral in growing the company's service offering in Spain and Portugal. And Louise Snell has joined the UK hire desk, having previously worked in marketing and administration for ES Broadcast's sales division.

Equipment Hire The company's rental arm, ES Broadcast Hire, is a leading provider of live production equipment for hire, with a product portfolio that boasts the largest rental fleet of Sony HDC-4300 4K broadcast cameras in Europe, amongst market-leading equipment from manufacturers including Sony, Grass Valley, Canon, Fujinon and Vinten.
Equipment Sales The company is an international reseller of both new and used professional broadcast and production equipment, and is an approved dealer for Sony, Grass Valley, ARRI, Canon, NewTek, JVC and many other leading manufacturers.
Vehicle Brokerage ES Broadcast also specialises in the procurement and sale of used Outside Broadcast vehicles, and has sourced more than 25 OB trucks for the UK and European broadcast industry in the last six years.
Systems Integration and Project Solutions ES Broadcast provides systems integration services and has completed multiple projects including studios, fly-packs, OB trucks and large-scale corporate video installations. Our Project Solutions arm has provided large-scale, temporary ENG kits for a number of major global sporting events.
Facilities decommissioning and equipment disposal ES Broadcast provides a professional decommissioning and disposal service, simplifying the process of facilities upgrades, releasing any residual value of obsolete technology, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations governing equipment disposal.
