Sky today unveils the first teaser and first-look images for Crystal Lake, a gripping new series from A24 and creator, writer and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry, Warrior).

A thrilling expansion of the iconic Friday the 13th universe, the highly anticipated eight-part series starring Emmy-nominee Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis, Dead To Me) will be available exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW in the UK and Ireland from this October.

A prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise, Crystal Lake follows single mother Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini) who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before. When two strangers arrive at Pams door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?

Also starring William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins and Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Crystal Lake expands the mythology of one of horrors most enduring franchises, blending psychological suspense, mystery and emotional storytelling with the legacy that has captivated audiences for generations.
