Livas Extends Multi-Year Agreement for SeaChange Software Behind Its Cable, Terrestrial and IPTV Services

ACTON, Mass. SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC) today announced that Livas Telecommunications, one of the leading cable television service providers in Latvia, has extended its multi-year service agreement. Livas has relied on the SeaChange CASIS linear broadcast software solution since 2009 to handle electronic program guide (EPG) metadata and Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) table generation for its multi-platform television services.

CASIS manages all EPG functionality and DVB tables for Livas cable and terrestrial customers and also publishes the EPG data online for Livas IPTV. Since the initial deployment, CASIS metadata management has been expanded to 250 channel services. The service agreement with SeaChange ensures support and bug fix upgrades.
