Middle Atlantic Enhances C3 Credenza Series with Chief Mounts

Middle Atlantic has extended the award-winning C3 Credenza Series to now include a Frame to Furniture offering featuring optional integrated Display Mounts co-developed with Chief.

Customers were looking for a more integrated AV system mounting approach that leverages the C3 Credenza to manage storage and cables, said David Albright, Business Development Manager. This co-developed solution brings together the best of Middle Atlantic technical furniture with embedded AV infrastructure, and display mounting from Chief.

The new C3 Frame to Furniture Credenza enables integrators to do all the integration work with the frame at their shop or on the job site, then install the wood kit which ships separately. This method helps protect the wood and keep it out of harm's way while the integrator is doing the integration of the AV equipment.

The C3 Frame to-Furniture Credenza frames also include floor support legs on the frame that provide room for proper equipment ventilation; and use the floor to bear much of the weight of the credenza and optional display mounts. This eliminates the need for time-consuming and costly wall inspection and remediation.

The optional C3 Single or Dual Display Mounts come with elegant white covers to hide the uprights and cables, eliminating the need for secondary cable management. A Large Cover Accessory is also available to fully enclose the space between the uprights, and can be painted to match the wall color. A variety of Chief Fusion Series accessories are compatible with the C3 Display Mount system for fully outfitting the install with speakers, cameras, and conferencing systems. Notably, the new FCA800HS and FCA810HS accessories were developed to mount Vaddio's HuddleSHOT All-in-One Conferencing Camera system. The C3 Credenza with C3 Display Mounts supports ADA compliance.

Chief and Middle Atlantic have similar goals of enhancing the installation experience and providing robust AV infrastructure support, said Albright. Solutions from the two brands work really well together. Co-developing this as a complete integrated system provides value to our integration partners and end users alike.

The new C3 Frame to Furniture Credenzas initially are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 bays in 32 height only, with wood kits available in three finish options that align with current interior design trends. The new C3 wood kits also include keyed locks in complementary finishes, providing enhanced security for AV equipment. 24 height credenzas and additional finish options will be available soon.
