Footage.net, the world's premier online resource for stock footage search and discovery, announced today that it will be an exhibitor at this year's Visual Connections conference, set to take place October 23rd at the Altman Building in Chelsea, Manhattan.
This is our first time exhibiting at Visual Connections, so we're very excited to connect with their community, said David Seevers, Footage.net Chief Marketing Officer. A growing number of image buyers have expressed interest in learning about and accessing stock footage, so we think it will be a very productive and enlightening event.
This annual education and networking event is for buyers and researchers of creative and editorial photography, footage and illustration. The one-day program offers a unique opportunity to gain knowledge about sourcing, licensing and using imagery; discover new sources of stock media; meet the people behind the images; learn about the latest trends and pick up tips; network with peers; and enjoy a free lunch, beer or glass of wine.
This year's event will have a special focus on footage, with an afternoon program of roundtable discussions, organized by ACSIL, a trade organization representing leading footage agencies.
The exhibit floor will showcase over 60 different image/footage agencies from around the world, many new to this year's event. Buyers can see new historical and artistic collections; be inspired by unusual creative styles; discuss specific project requirements; and negotiate licensing deals.
As a resource to the global production industry, Footage.net will be on hand to meet Visual Connections attendees and answer questions about finding and using stock footage source material.
