Audio-Technica unveils new generations of wireless microphones in the 3000 and 5000 seriesThe 3000 and 5000 series provides the user the power and flexibility in wireless microphones to work within the congested UHF spectrum.
On the occasion of the Winter NAMM 2018 Audio-Technica presents from 25 to 28 January in Anaheim (California) the new generation of wireless microphone systems from the 3000 and 5000 series.
Providing easy setup, a versatile handling and high-fidelity sound solid and rich in details, the fourth generation of the 3000 series of Audio-Technica wireless systems providing the user the power and flexibility to work within the congested UHF spectrum.
With a range of tuning of 60 MHz, unique in its kind and more than double those offered by previous versions, the new 3000 series systems are available in four frequency bands: DE2 (470-530 MHz), EE1 (530-590 MHz), EF1 (590-650 MHz) and FG1 (650-700 MHz).
The frequencies can be easily scanned and selected on the receiver and then synchronized with the transmitter on the Sync go. 3000 series allows even user set a frequency of backup that can be quickly exchanged by pressing the multifunction transmitter button, where there is an unexpected interference.
Available system configurations include an ATW-T3202-handheld transmitter or a receiver ATW-R3210 combined with a belt-pack ATW-T3201. The ATW-T3201 is equipped with the new connector screwed four-PIN style cH to provide a secure connection to the lavaliers cH style and type of Audio-Technica headset microphones, or cables.
The ATW-T3202 is available with interchangeable cardioid capsules, with availability of the ATW-C510 dynamic and condenser ATW-C710: your industry standard thread allows the use of Audio-Technica capsules and other compatible capsules. Both transmitters have a robust metal housing and are fed through two batteries type AA.
Load terminals present in each of the transmitters are compatible with smart Chargers ATW-CHG3 and intelligent network ATW-CH3N Chargers (sold separately), and allow recharging NiMH batteries.
5000 seriesIn regards to the 5000 series, Audio-Technica has advanced to what will be the third generation of its UHF True Diversity wireless systems with automatic frequency selection.
The new 5000 series dual receivers offer the Wireless live sound with high qualityThanks to the technology of double compander from Audio-Technica, processing independently high frequencies and low, and its running True Diversity. The receiver has been updated with a bandwidth of 230 MHz tuning: 470-700 MHz, and users now have the option of selecting a standard receiver with two balanced XLR outputs (ATW-R5220), or a receiver that also includes an output Dante) ATW - R5220DAN). Full rack of the receiver chassis accommodates two independent receivers and offers power antenna, sweep frequencies, IR, synchronization functionality switch disconnection from Earth and jack for headphones on the front panel.
Other new features include an antenna output allows cascading connect up to eight receivers in such a way that a single pair of antennas can manage up to 16 channels (these connectors also provide a function of RF cable, of great help to troubleshoot RF), a function auto squelch, which automatically adjusts the squelch to maximize the operating range, while minimizing potential disruptions, and a frequency of backup that can be quickly exchanged by pressing the multifunction transmitter button, where there is an interference unexpected. The software allows monitoring and remote control of the wireless system.
Two transmitters are available for use with the 5000 series: body-pack transmitter type ATW-T5201 and the ATW-T5202-handheld transmitter. Both transmitters are equipped with metal housing robust and ergonomic, screen OLED so dual and high visibility (switchable between standard display or display of work to highlight the key measurements), programmable functions, controls of soft touch, and switchable RF power (2 mW 10 mW/50 mW). They are available in two different frequency ranges - DE1 (470-590 MHz) and EG1 (580-700 MHz) - to provide complete coverage of the bandwidth of the receiver.
