Free daily horoscope, celeb gossip and lucky numbers for 13 May, 2019

09/05/2019

CELEBRITIES BORN ON THIS DAY: Stevie Wonder, Joe Louis, Dennis Rodman, Bea Arthur, Ritchie Valens, Clive Barnes, Beatrice Arthur, Harvey Keitel.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Heavy influences today indicate that there's going to be plenty of food for thought for everyone. In your case it is likely to be a personal relationship that comes under the spotlight. An impasse or stalemate situation is likely to cause frustration, but the planets suggest that you might need to climb down!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Differing opinions are likely to crop up throughout the day today, and the knock-on effect will create unnecessary stress and tension. Getting the wrong end of the stick, or not appreciating someone else's position could lead to a red face later. Think before you speak: the planets are not being kind to anyone!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Oh dear, Gemini: a slightly irresponsible attitude to cash or a devil-may-care attitude could spur you into making rash purchases today. Misleading influences are likely to emphasize a vain streak. You'll be easily flattered and you'll be rather competitive too: trying to keep up with a flash friend is pointless!

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You're likely to be way too cautious. You could be held back by a shy, retiring, and risk-averse mindset. Hesitating and spending far too long considering the pros and cons of any significant decision suggests a missed opportunity. However, the evening brings some useful insights!

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): If the majority of the day seems beset with minor mishaps, then blame the current planets. A blast from the past could have an unsettling effect; alternatively, something you hear could add up to some minor bad news. It is a day to get through, rather than fight against. Tomorrow is better!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): High expectations on your part are likely to fall flat today. A need to be in control might need to be softened, if you are to lessen the effect of the taxing influences. Don't be too harsh over someone else's errors or blunders. By the same token you might need to be patient if someone is unwilling to tell it like it is!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): A slump in your confidence levels can be blamed on today's heavy planetary influences. A nagging feeling that you could do better, or be better, or look better are temporary, so you don't need to act on them. Normality resumes by the late evening as the influences recede. Like Leo, ride it out!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Opt for a peaceful and quiet day today. Damage limitation should be your aim. Avoid getting embroiled in other people's dramas: stay neutral; be a little non-committal; don't take sides. As with a couple of other signs you could find that there's little you can do to counteract the pesky influences until this evening!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): The unhelpful planetary aspects are likely to emphasize all the less-positive elements of Sagittarius today. Being a little too blunt; or a little blithe; or too tactless are the traits you'll need to restrain, if you are to avoid stress. Otherwise, you could find yourself coping with a definite atmosphere today!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): If yesterday you were a little inflexible, then today you are likely to try too hard to keep too many people happy. It will be a juggling act that requires supreme skill and effort, and even then your endeavors are unlikely to be appreciated. But the feeling that you're banging your head against a brick wall will ease!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): There's a hint of secrecy for you in today's planetary line-up. Either you'll be on the receiving end of a snippet of information or you'll feel that something is being withheld from you! Look to trusted, knowing person, most likely a wise earth sign, for some useful, practical advice today!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): You're likely to feel in need of a pick-me-up today, thanks to taxing planetary influences, which are likely to sap your energy and resolve a little. However, if things seem to keep going wrong you'll find more comfort and reassurance from a good friend rather than from the mall!

FOR THOSE OF US BORN ON THIS DAY: Happy birthday! The months ahead will begin with a very quiet period where you will be mostly getting some much needed relaxation after a very hectic start to the year. The summer could see opportunities developing, which will get you thinking about nurturing or expanding your talents: the impetus you need to get you motivated will be there! For the autumn months your love life looks very exciting, with many admirers on the scene. Towards the end of the year there will be some significantly positive changes in your financial position. This will be money that has been earned rather than won. There is a good chance that your good fortunes will be related to a development of the talents mentioned above!

CELEBRITY GOSSIP: Gigi Hadid is one of the most in-demand models right now and she is using every technique of social media promotion to ensure that she stays in the spotlight. According to the planets, Gigi is actually a multi-talented individual but the influence of Saturn means that she may be keeping some of her abilities under wraps right now!
