Sky 1's brand new crime drama, Stan Lee's Lucky Man', starring BAFTA nominated actor James Nesbitt OBE, has seen the viewing figures for its first episode increase by a record 1.14 million in the week after its launch, resulting in a consolidated audience of 1.74 million.
This is the biggest increase in viewing figures that the first episode of any Sky original drama series has ever achieved in the week after transmission. It also makes it the best performing original drama series launch on Sky 1 for nearly four years.
Episode one of the ten-part series launched on Sky 1 on Friday January 22 and delivered an overnight audience of 600,000.
This audience has now grown by 1.14 million as Sky customers take advantage of being able to watch the show flexibly; through their Sky+ recordings, On Demand and via Sky Go. NOW TV customers have also been able to watch the series, with the first episode being the most watched entertainment programme on the online streaming service in the week that it aired.

This record increase in viewing figures over the last seven days shows that they continue to value the flexibility that we offer them, to watch their favourite shows wherever and whenever they want.
Stan Lee's Lucky Man, produced by the multi-award winning makers of Downton Abbey, Carnival Films, and based on an idea by legendary comic book writer Stan Lee, forms part of Sky 1's commitment to air year-round original British drama.
Sky is investing more and more in original productions across its channels and has over 100 dramas in production or development to complement its acquired content and extend its leadership on screen.
Stan Lee's Lucky Man follows in the success of Sky 1's 2015 Christmas drama Fungus the Bogeyman',which helped the channel to deliver its highest-rated Christmas week since 2011, with the series delivering an average consolidated audience of over one million. It also follows You, Me and the Apocalypse', which delivered an average consolidated audience of around 800K, making it one of the best performing original British dramas on the channel in recent years. You, Me and the Apocalypse has recently premiered in the US to critical acclaim.
Stan Lee's Lucky Man is a crime drama about fate, gambling and the consequences of our actions, described by The Observer as a thrill a minute drama and by The Sun's TV Magazine as pacey,fresh enormous fun .
It sees DI Harry Clayton (James Nesbitt), a cop from Central London's notorious Murder Squad, being given a mysterious bracelet that is said to endow the wearer with immense luck. However, this kind of luck comes with a price and soon Harry finds himself at the heart of a sinister crime waves weeping through London. The series also stars Amara Karan (The Darjeeling Limited), Sienna Guillory (Fortitude), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), Steven Mackintosh (Inside Men), Darren Boyd (Spy) and Omid Djalili (Moonfleet).
Customers can watch Stan Lee's Lucky Man now on Sky 1, On Demand and Sky Go, as well as through online streaming service NOW TV with a NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass.
