The Council of the Commission of the markets and the competition (CNMC) has completed the institutional organization chart with the recent appointments of the Assistant Directors, completing the organizational chart of the following form:
Secretary of the Council. Tom s Su rez-Inclan. It is the State Attorney and held the position of Deputy Secretary of the General Secretaries Committee of State and under-secretaries from January 2012. He has been Secretary General technical of the Ministry of the Presidency (2010-2012), of the Ministry of defence (2010) and Chairman of the Commissioner for the tobacco market (2000-2004).
Vicesecretario del Consejo. Miguel S nchez Blanco. Es licenciado en Derecho y ocupaba el cargo de Secretario del Consejo y Director de la Asesor a Jur dica de la Comisi n del Mercado de las Telecomunicaciones. Ha sido Subdirector de Regulaci n de Operadores en la citada Comisi n (2002 -2006) y ha ocupado diferentes puestos en el rea Jur dica de la Direcci n General de Telecomunicaciones (1989-1997).
Secretaria General. Beatriz De Armas. Es Licenciada en Filosof a y Letras y ocupaba el cargo de Consejera T cnica en la Subdirecci n General de Contenidos de la Sociedad de la Informaci n. Ha ocupado distintos cargos en el Instituto de la Cinematograf a (1986-2010), en la Oficina del Portavoz del Gobierno (1985) y en el Instituto de la Juventud (1977).

Director de Competencia. Eduardo Prieto Kessler. T cnico Comercial Economista del Estado y actual vocal asesor en la Direcci n de Investigaci n de la CNC desde 2012, lo que garantiza la continuidad, anteriormente hab a sido Instructor del Servicio de Defensa de la Competencia y Subdirector de Conductas Restrictivas de la Competencia. Ha sido consultor en NERA Economic Consulting del Grupo Marsh & McLennan y Consejero Econ mico y Comercial de la Embajada de Espa a en Bucarest y Se l.
Directora de Telecomunicaciones y del Sector Audiovisual. Alejandra de Iturriaga y Gandini. Es licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Complutense. Desde octubre de 2005 ha sido Directora de la Direcci n de Regulaci n de Operadores de la CMT. Adem s, ha prestado servicio en la CMT desde hace quince a os, como Subdirectora y Directora de la Asesor a Jur dica, lo que garantiza la continuidad de la actividad en este rea. Ha participado en las actividades de representaci n internacional de la CMT.
Director de Energ a. Fernando Hern ndez Jim nez-Casquet. M ster de Econom a de Harvard University (MPA2) y en Advanced European Studies del Colegio de Europa en Brujas y T cnico Comercial y Economista del Estado, actual Asesor en la Secretar a de Estado de la Energ a desde enero de 2013, ha sido Consejero Econ mico y Comercial de la Embajada de Espa a en Dusseldorf, Senior Economist en el Banco Mundial y asesor en la Oficina Econ mica del Presidente del Gobierno (2001-2004).
Director Transportes y Sector Postal. ngel Chamorro P rez. Es licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas y Letrado de Comunidad de Madrid desde enero de 1999. Actualmente ocupaba el cargo de Vicepresidente de la Comisi n Nacional del Sector Postal desde 2010 y desde junio de 2012 realizaba tambi n las funciones de Presidente.
Director del Departamento de Promoci n de la Competencia. Antonio Maudes Guti rrez. T cnico Comercial y Economista del Estado y licenciado en Derecho y en CC. Econ micas y Empresariales (E2) en ICADE. Hasta ahora ocupaba el mismo cargo de Director de Promoci n de la CNC desde 2011. Fue Subdirector General de Informes y Concentraciones (2003-2006) y vocal asesor del Tribunal de Defensa de la Competencia (1998-1999). Tambi n ha sido Consejero Econ mico y Comercial de la Embajada de Espa a en Mil n y Varsovia.
Director de la Asesor a Jur dica, que depende de la Secretar a del Consejo de la CNMC. Joaquim Hortal Vallv . Es Abogado del Estado. Fue responsable de la representaci n y defensa de la CNC ante la Audiencia Nacional y posteriormente Secretario del Consejo de la CNC.

Es m ster en derecho comunitario europeo en la C tedra Jean Monnet y licenciada en Derecho. Ha desarrollado su carrera profesional en los servicios de defensa de la competencia.
Subdirectora de Vigilancia. Carmen Lillo Alvarez. Es licenciada en Farmacia e Inspectora del SOIVRE. Ha desarrollado su actividad profesional en los servicios de defensa de la competencia.
