Quantel solutions for the entire chain of production, from news and sports to finish The solution and color correction and finishing one of the flagships of Quantel Pablo Rio, protagonist of the stand of Quantel in BIT Broadcast 2014.
After the recent purchase of Snell by the British company Quantel, has been evident in this BIT Broadcast 2014 the potential that will be the new Quantel-Snell in the entire production chain from news and sport to finish, correction and routing of signals.

Among the novelties presented BIt Broadcast highlights the ability to export XAVC, support network SDK with GPU, DCP IIn, Optyical Flow slow motion Tracker homography, audio in MLTFX, significant improvements in wireframe and subtitles, and most importantly, now for the first time with Apple ProRes encoding.
It is noteworthy that Quantel has acquired Apple ProRes codec license for its whole range of software and integrated systems of high quality color correction and finishing Pablo Rio, and Pablo PA softwares help system.
ProRes codecs will be part of the software V2.0 update rev8 to Pablo Rio and Pablo PA, whose launch is expected by the end of April. The new license includes ProRes 4444 codecs, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT) and ProRes 422 (Proxy).
News and sports
In environments of production for news and sports, Quantel has incorporated new editing tools to Enterprise sQ. On the other hand regarding sQ FileFlow version 2 presents an easier integration with more workflows (next to CFIS ftp servers support) and productivity (new HTML 5 IU) greater security in terms of access. The Kona card 3G Pablo Rio 2 K and 4 K is supported on systems only for software and integrated systems 2KO.
QTube
As for QTube, Quantel solution for production everywhere for ingest, editing and distribution everywhere now has new tools for effects in editing, new possibilities for browser, greater capabilities for the file uploads from anywhere.
Much more than the remote Edition, QTube offers the ability to ingest and play anywhere - strengthening new workflows that truly connect people and places in a flexible production environment. At NAB, Quantel is connecting QTube supports more applications and users to provide more flexibility to still design their ideal distribution of workflow.
QTube Edit gets advanced intake capabilities and complete effect tools. These two developments make QTube Edit a great editor for news agencies. QTube Edit can work immediately with local content and freely mix material from other locations in the Edition. You can add titles and effects to create a complete package that can then be posted on any location of issuance. Any reproduction takes place at QTube Transformer, avoiding the transfer of large amounts of information via WAN.
QTube Browser allows each person with web browser access content via QTube, wherever in the world. A new development at NAB gives QTube Browser image capture ability. This makes it very easy to web content producers take the images they need for their web pages. QTube Browser also supports InterSite; This allows communication managers access the content from any location - even to intakes live - make sub-clips and collect and move it to where needed across the WAN. Now everything can be with a browser from anywhere.
QTube InterSite also advances. Your workflow for editing content in different locations has not changed - new is an advanced level of management that allows users to have visibility and control total of the entire infrastructure. The new level of management is web-based and can therefore be used from a Web browser anywhere.
