Ventuz powers CeBIT Conference Agency: Sven Sura

The largest IT exhibition of the world uses Ventuz for its prime conference.

Yes, it's been another year already, and CeBIT has opened its gates again for IT freaks and gadget hunters of all shapes and sizes. But apart from the busy exhibition floors, there is a place at CeBIT where great minds come together to discuss technology trends and shape the future of IT: the CeBIT Conference. Among the speakers are Philip Rsler, German Minister of Economics and Technology, Peer Steinbrck, SPD Chancellor Candidate for the 2013 German elections, and Kevin Turner, COO of Microsoft.

For the second time now, projection specialist Sven Sura is using Ventuz for the backdrop projection and on-stage screens of the conference. The application handles up to 12 input signals plus a live-camera-feed. Transition animations and additional information are designed in Ventuz, with speaker names and topics coming in from a database system. The content is brought onto the curved screen via 3 HD-projectors the edge blending is naturally done in Ventuz.

Additionally, the application allows for the individual distribution of content onto the five displays placed at the foot of the stage for speaker control.

Sura has chosen Ventuz over other applications since it allows for much more creativity when creating design and animation. Also the quality of the content is much better at a lower latency there seems to be no downside to using Ventuz, Sura stated. Which is why he has also equipped conference events of companies such as Targo Bank, HansaMerkur and Henkel with Ventuz presentations this year.

The conference started on March 5th and will continue until March 8th. All talks can be watched on the CeBIT website.
