ZIXI AVAILABLE ON GOOGLE CLOUD MARKETPLACE

Zixi, the industry leader for enabling dependable, live broadcast-quality video over any IP network, and provider of the award-winning Software-Defined Video Platform (SDVP ) today announced that the company is building on its existing alliance with Google Cloud. Through this expanded alliance, companies in the media, telecommunications and entertainment verticals can deliver end-to-end broadcast quality live video solutions over IP using Google Cloud through Google Cloud Marketplace. The Zixi Broadcaster and Zixi ZEN Master control plane are now available for procurement through private offers, with the incremental benefit of purchasing Zixi services through Google Cloud Marketplace counting against Google Cloud Enterprise Agreement contracts supporting cost efficiencies, streamlining budgets and simplifying purchasing when provisioning Zixi's market-leading live video solutions with Google Cloud.

Google Cloud Marketplace lets users quickly deploy functional software packages that run on Google Cloud and allows customers to easily start up a familiar software package with Google Cloud services like Compute Engine or Cloud Storage, with no manual configuration required. The Zixi SDVP and Zixi Broadcaster have been integrated with Google Cloud leveraging the unique Google Cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities and extensive Zixi APIs. Users can now deploy Zixi Broadcasters using Zixi ZEN Master and have access to comprehensive telemetry data on the network, transport, intra-cloud delivery and associated edge devices in the end-to-end workflow. The powerful ZEN Master control plane enables users to manage large-scale configurations to orchestrate, analyze, monitor, alert and report on live video streams and devices across the Zixi Enabled Network of customers, integrated devices and platforms and service providers standardized on Zixi.

Zixi has been natively integrated with Cloud Storage to cost effectively facilitate contribution and distribution to content and broadcast partners. Google Cloud's enterprise-grade cloud solutions leverage cutting-edge technology to help companies operate more efficiently and adapt to changing needs, giving customers a foundation for the future. Zixi is a sustainable and cost-effective solution, requiring 95% less compute and on average 50% less bandwidth while being 10x more port efficient saving 50% on egress costs that with the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry allows broadcasters to repurpose investment into new content acquisition, new business models and opportunities to generate revenue.

Mutual Google Cloud and Zixi broadcasters, as well as providers of premium online video offerings for live video ingest, transcode and publishing for OTT customers, are now leveraging ZEN Master to deploy and configure Zixi Broadcasters on Google Cloud to support both live linear and occasional use cases. With multiple clusters running on Google Cloud, these media organizations can accept Zixi streams, a flexibility that allows them to use almost any encoding device that generates a digital stream.
