Verimatrix Expands Executive Team to Support Strong Grow Trajectory

Mike Kleiman Appointed COO to Execute Strategic Operations Initiatives and Support Rapidly Growing Customer BaseSan Diego, August 11, 2014 -Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, today announced that Mike Kleiman has been named chief operating officer (COO) of the company, a position that was created to help support the company's rapid growth. Verimatrix has continued to expand its market presence in the last year, surpassing 50 million screens protected with more than 750 operators in 110+ countries.

Kleiman joins Verimatrix from Verizon Digital Media Services, where he served as COO of the New Products Division. Verizon acquired EdgeCast Networks, of which Kleiman served as both COO and CFO, overseeing its stellar growth as the company became a leading global content delivery network (CDN). He also played an important role in integrating the two companies and leading the massive expansion of Verizon's global CDN infrastructure in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America markets. Prior to that, he helped develop and lead several internet and growth companies, serving as CEO of Strive International, president of SolutionPro, Inc., CFO/general manager of HostPro, Inc. (a division of Micron PC/Interland), CFO/CIO of the Calibri Group, Inc., and vice president of finance/operations of the Scott Sports Group, LLC.

Kleiman also spent seven years in Big 6 public accounting and financial consulting as a CPA for Arthur Andersen LLP. He has a BS in accounting from Montana State and an executive MBA from Tulane, and has served on the boards of several technology startups.
