The award-winning series, Lavish is led by popular actress Jessica Nkosi, who portrays the character Zozi; a flamboyant woman who always wants her presence felt.

LAVISH' SECOND SEASON Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has announced that Mzansi Magic's popular series Lavish has been renewed for a second season.

The actress Jessica Nkosi, who is known for her roles in The Queen and Isibaya reveals in an interview with Sunday World that her Lavish role Zozi is also a fabulous fashionista, who is rich.

In all honesty, she's not only a fabulous fashionista but also rich and knows how to own it, everything with her is over the top and extravagant.

Nkosi also reveals that the series is domestic suspense at its very best as it takes seemingly ordinary people and puts them in an extraordinary situation, pushing them to their limits, and then lets the chaos unfold in front of us.

One minute you think she's one way, but desperation makes her behave in another, you can never be sure of what she will do.

Her character Zozi does not know how to juggle fame and family even though she has many staff members that help with everything while she just gets to be her best self and live her best life.

OTHER CAST MEMBERS The show will also star former Scandal! actress Nolo Seabi and former The Estate and Isibaya actor Sdumo Mtshali.

Smoke and Mirrors actress Ayanda Bandla plays Kat, an ambitious workaholic who is juggling a thriving career, motherhood, and dating.

Kat is from a prominent political family and plans to get to the top of the political food chain.

Actress Kanyi Nokwe plays Nomzamo, who's a little rough around the edges, a fiercely fabulous vixen with new money to burn.

Nomzamo wants to build an empire while her partner wants a dedicated wife.

Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net told the publication:

Mzansi Magic has long produced cutting-edge dramas and dramatic comedies geared towards a mature audience, and Lavish is the latest show in this genre. We can't wait to see how our discerning audience will resonate with the show.
