Medina Media Debuts the series Heading to Pyeongchang Eurosport 2 The series consisting of nine episodes is the first local production in Spain of the sports networks Discovery.
Eurosport 2 offers today, Friday November 17 at 20:30 the first episode of Heading to PyeongChangproduced by Medina Media, with the rider Queralt Castellet, runner-up of the world of snowboarding in the Half Pipe, starring mode.
More than 50 days of recording have been used for the filming of the series and will have visited countries such as USA, Italy, France, Switzerland or Canada. In total, 15 different actors in 5 disciplines of snow and ice and 180 interviews appear in 9 episodes.
The series may be followed every Friday at 20:30 on Eurosport 2 and Eurosport Player, digital service of Eurosport which gives access to Eurosport 1 emission and Eurosport 2 in computers, tablets and smartphones for users. The direction of the series has been carried out by Oscar del Castillo, and the realization by Pablo Posada. It will display stories which is behind Spanish athletes as Javier Fern ndez, two-time world champion that will reveal us what its like to be the cause of the fever by skating in Spain; Ander Mirambell, Spanish pioneer of Skeleton and first Spanish athlete of this discipline; Lucas Eguibar, runner-up in the world of snowboardcross, which will reveal some of the toughest personal moments that has had to face; or Queralt Castellet, runner-up of the world of snowboard that will have the healing power that exerted on her mountain to recover from the death of her boyfriend and trainer.
The program will show the stories of these Spanish heroes as never been done before, using leading-edge technology as the 4 K and the audience approaching the person who hides behind the athlete showing very emotional moments on the demand and the desire of overcoming of these great athletes.
To roll the nine episodes have been used more than 50 hours of work and you have visited countries such as USA, Italy, France, Switzerland or Canada. The program, produced by Medina Media, delves into the lives of these athletes and reveals not only his career but also everything that is behind them, all the efforts and sacrifices that have faced throughout his career to l UCHAR to achieve the long-awaited Olympic medal.
