Actress Phoebe Dynevor dropped a huge bombshell as she revealed she will not be returning for the third season of Netflix's hit series Bridgeron.

PHOEBE DYNEVOR NOT RETURNING FOR BRIDGERTON' SEASON THREE Actress Phoebe Dynevor played the role of Daphne Bridgerton in Netflix's hit series Bridgerton. Phoebe was the lead actress in season one of the series as the storyline focused on her love story with the Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett played by Reg -Jean Page.

The second season of the series focused on the love story of Daphne's brother Antony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) and his complicated love story with leading lady Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley).

So, hearts were broken all over the world when Lady Whistledown announced that Reg -Jean was not returning for season two.

This season, the series shifts focus from Anthony to Daphne's younger brother Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan).

Sadly not in season 3. Potentially in the future. But Season 3, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer, she said to Screen Rant.

THE ACTRESS: I DID MY TWO SEASONS' Phoebe went on to explain that she completed her two seasons. She also hinted that she may return in the future if she was asked.

Well, I did my two seasons, she said to Variety.

I've done what I wanted to do with that character and she had a great arc. If they ask me back in the future, who knows? she continued.
