
More than a dozen audiovisual associations unite to demand urgent measures for the sector Las especificidades de los trabajadores del audiovisual, tales como la intermitencia laboral, el vac o legal y las carencias en el mbito tributario, hacen que sea necesario tomar medidas concretas que deber an ser abordadas de manera conjunta por los ministerios de Cultura y Deporte, Hacienda y Trabajo.
La crisis provocada por el COVID-19 ha azotado con fuerza a muchos gremios y sectores, siendo uno de ellos el sector cultural, en el que se encuentran los profesionales del audiovisual. Un colectivo realmente vulnerable y fr gil, muchas veces invisible, pero imprescindible, y que debido a las especificidades del mismo, tales como la intermitencia laboral, el vac o legal y las carencias en el mbito tributario, cualquier crisis y m s una con estas caracter sticas, puede destruir y hacer que se tambaleen los cimientos de la industria.
Por primera vez, m s de una decena de asociaciones han decidido unirse para alzar la voz en representaci n de todos los colectivos del audiovisual. Su objetivo es lograr que se les tenga en cuenta a la hora de hacer frente a la gesti n de la mayor crisis sanitaria y econ mica que se recuerde en Espa a, en Europa y en el mundo entero.
Una crisis que, desgraciadamente, se agravar en los pr ximos meses. Y es que la pandemia est evidenciando que, pese a que las medidas y decretos que se est n tomando por parte del Gobierno dan fe de su grado de compromiso con nuestro pa s, muchas de estas medidas no son aplicables al sector audiovisual. Se trata de sector que sirve a la ciudadan a en su tiempo de ocio y, por ello, a menudo se confunde esta actividad con algo que viene despu s de lo verdaderamente importante.
Aunque se han presentado medidas econ micas de gran calado para paliar los estragos de esta emergencia sanitaria en muchos mbitos, las asociaciones del sector consideran que no han sido suficientemente espec ficas, ni adecuadas a la realidad profesional y laboral.
Al paralizar la actividad por ser considerada actividad econ mica no esencial , se interrumpe toda la producci n cultural en general y la audiovisual en particular, pero no su consumo. Parad jicamente, sin el consumo de cultura en los hogares, el confinamento estar a siendo insoportable.
ACCI N (Asociaci n de Directores y Directoras de Cine); ADDP (Asociaci n de Directores y Directoras de Publicidad); AEC (Asociaci n Espa ola de Directoras y Directores de Fotograf a); AMAE (Asociaci n de Montadores Audiovisuales de Espa a); AMMAC (Associaci de Muntadores i Muntadors Audiovisuals de Catalunya); APPA (Asociaci n de Profesionales de la Producci n Audiovisual); APSA (Asociaci n de Profesionales del Sonido Audiovisual); ATPE (Asociaci n de T cnicos de Publicidad); DIRIGE (Asociaci n de Directores de ficci n de televisi n); DOCMA (Asociaci n de Cine Documental); y PNR (Plataforma Nuevos Realizadores), han redactado un manifiesto con una serie de propuestas y medidas que podr an ayudar a calmar la acuciante paralizaci n del sector.
Esta uni n representa a miles de trabajadoras y trabajadores que agrupan tanto a los grandes como a los m s peque os. La mayor a est n acostumbrados a la inseguridad, pero ahora la preocupaci n por saber c mo podr n salir adelante es apremiante. A n as , durante estas semanas, este sector ha demostrado su solidaridad ofreciendo contenidos audiovisuales de forma gratuita y desinteresada. Han querido mandar un mensaje de esperanza que permitiera a la sociedad coger fuerzas y resistir al des nimo.
Cultura, bien de primera necesidad Esta crisis mundial est poniendo de manifiesto en qu se sustentan los pilares de una sociedad y est demostrando que la cultura es uno de ellos. El sector no puede esperar, necesita medidas concretas que contribuyan a mantener el tejido empresarial y a sus profesionales. Los trabajadores del audiovisual fuimos de los primeros en vernos afectados, incluso antes del decreto del estado de alarma y, posiblemente, seremos de los ltimos en volver a la normalidad.
La lentitud en la respuesta a las apremiantes necesidades de todo el tejido empresarial y profesional del sector audiovisual pueden desembocar en un deterioro irreversible y en una cat strofe para miles de familias. Tampoco podemos olvidar a los y las profesionales que se encontraban en esos momentos implicados en proyectos sin contratos formales firmados y que en estas dram ticas circunstancias no pueden acceder a ning n tipo de ayuda o subsidio.
Para que esto no suceda, desde estas asociaciones proponen una serie de medidas inmediatas que deber an ser abordadas de una manera conjunta por parte de los ministerios de Trabajo, Hacienda y Cultura y Deporte para desarrollar medidas y soluciones que se adapten a nuestra especificidad.
