NeuLion and the Portland Trail Blazers have launched a new interactive digital service that gives Trail Blazers fans who live outside the cable TV broadcast region the ability to watch their favorite team play online via Trail Blazers Live.
Now, fans that do not have access to Comcast SportsNet (the cable rights holder of Trail Blazer games) but live within NBA-approved territories can watch the remainder of the exciting Trail Blazers' season all in HD, live and on their favorite Internet-connected devices. This comes just in time for the team's best start since 1999.
Powered by NeuLion, Trail Blazers Live gives fans the ability to interact with the Trail Blazers online like never before. The NeuLion Sports Platform uses adaptive streaming technology to deliver a seamless high-quality HD fan video experience.
Additionally, a variety of interactive DVR functionalities allow fans to pause, rewind and replay live games, giving them control of how they watch the games and the option to relive thrilling Trail Blazers moments again and again.
As an organization, we want to ensure that Trail Blazers fans throughout the region have the ability to access our game broadcasts, said Chris McGowan, president and CEO of the Trail Blazers and Moda Center.
