Stellar Lineup Featuring Outstanding British Talent Announced at Next on Netflix UK

On Thursday at Next on Netflix UK, Anne Mensah, Netflix VP of UK Content, announced a raft of new titles in the UK, as well as some returning series and casting news.

The event, hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, who will soon front Love is Blind UK for Netflix, saw guests enjoy panels with stars from ERIC (Benedict Cumberbatch & Abi Morgan), Scoop (Billie Piper & Rufus Sewell), Joy (Rachel Mason & Jack Thorne) and Missing You (Jessica Plumber & Victoria Asare-Archer).

Mensah said: Thrilling dramas. Inspiring documentaries. Laugh-out-loud entertainment. The best from around the world, and the best of British. Everyone across the UK is looking for something different when they sit down on their sofas, and Netflix has it all in one place. British television has such a long history of producing truly brilliant entertainment and we are forever proud to be part of this tradition.

ADOLESCENCE (working title) | NEW SERIES

Award-winning trio, Stephen Graham (Boiling Point, Bodies, The Irishman), Philip Barantini (Boiling Point) and Jack Thorne (The Swimmers, Joy, Help) unite for a four-part limited series Adolescence. Written by Graham and Thorne, Adolescence is an ambitious crime drama told in a real-time, one-shot style, directed by Philip Barantini. Casting will be announced in due course.

BEAR HUNT (working title) | NEW SERIES

Holly Willoughby hosts this action-packed competition show that sees a group of unlikely British celebrities dropped into the Costa Rican jungle as prey for one of the worlds most fearsome predators - Bear Grylls. Bear believes there's an action hero inside us all - even the celebs - but how strong is their will to survive? As Bear puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress will face the dreaded Bear Hunt' - a brutal game of cat and mouse where they'll be hunted down by Bear himself and, if captured, eliminated from the show.

BLACK MIRROR S7 | NEW SERIES

Charlie Brookers dark, satirical anthology series will return in 2025 with six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure USS Callister.

BUYING LONDON | NEW SERIES

The talented team set out to conquer the super prime high-end real estate market from the prestigious streets of Mayfair to the exclusive enclaves of Holland Park as we follow the group as they navigate the intricacies of their personal lives as well as striving to make their mark in the glamorous world of luxury real estate.

GROWN UPS | NEW SERIES

Netflix will bring Marian Keyes best selling novel Grown Ups to the screen as an ensemble family drama. Based on three couples - Nell and Liam, Cara and Ed, Jessie and Rory, like most families, the Caseys are a complicated bunch. Ever-shifting politics. Old and new resentments. Arguments that blow over quickly and hurts that are nursed forever. They're loyal. Noisy. And bound together by a whole lot of love. Casting to be announced in due course.

MILLENNIUM DIAMOND HEIST | NEW SERIES

From executive producer Guy Ritchie and Academy Award and Emmy -winning producers Lightbox comes a three-part documentary true crime caper. It's summer 2000.
