Harris Corporation Names Dr. Jenny Dean Medical Director of its EMEA Healthcare Solutions Business MELBOURNE, FL/WINNERSH UK, March 05, 2013 Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has named Dr. Jenny Dean, medical director for its Healthcare Solutions business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She will be responsible for providing clinical input into Harris Healthcare Solutions from product management to ensuring that the solutions offered meet the changing needs of the market. Dean brings more than 16 years experience in healthcare including clinical practice where she specialized in anaesthetics with experience in accident & emergency, general medicine, aeromedical and hyperbaric medicine. Dean joins Harris from KPMG, where she was an associate director in Healthcare Advisory for the global consulting firm. In this role, she served as engagement manager for a number of clinical operational and governance reviews for groups of care homes, private clinics and National Health Service (NHS). She also was clinical lead in a major care system redesign and developed a knowledge base of best practice guidance and innovative examples for benchmarking and facilitation in options development for clients. Prior to joining KPMG, Dean was the executive director of the Cambridge Centre for Health Leadership & Enterprise, which she established at Cambridge Universitys Judge Business School. There, she developed and directed the Cambridge Chief Residents Management and Leadership Development program. She also has worked as a clinical design consultant for electronic health records for NHS Connecting for Healths National Programme for IT.
