Ericsson adquiere FYI Television La empresa, con una plantilla de 150 profesionales y sede en Grand Prairei (Texas), est especializada en la gesti n de metadatos y descubrimiento de contenido en entornos televisivos.
Ericsson ha anunciado este lunes su intenci n de adquirir FYI Television, una compa a especializada en la gesti n de metadatos y descubrimiento de contenido. Con sede en Grand Prairie (Texas) y una plantilla de 150 profesionales, su compra fortalecer la posici n de Ericsson en la industria de media.
FYI Television acumula y distribuye contenido de entretenimiento y datos de programaci n lineal de m s de 9.000 cadenas de televisi n al d a, incluyendo formatos personalizados para medios digitales y dispositivos conectados como tabletas, tel fonos, ordenadores de sobremesa , portales de Internet y consolas de juegos.
Las plataformas de descubrimiento de FYI ofrecen semanalmente m s de 11,5 millones de palabras a las gu as electr nicas de programaci n, sitios web y dispositivos conectados.
La creciente gama de servicios de televisi n y v deo disponibles en una variedad de dispositivos crea una amplia gama de opciones a la hora de que los espectadores elijan. De hecho, seg n el ConsumerLab de Ericsson, el 50 por ciento de los televidentes lineales dicen que no pueden encontrar una buena programaci n, poniendo de relieve la importancia del descubrimiento de contenido.
