NAB 2026: Panasonic to Showcase IP and IT Production Solutions

Panasonic Video and Audio Systems North America will exhibit at NAB Show 2026 (Booth C3509), demonstrating IP- and IT-based production solutions for sports, broadcast, and live entertainment.

IP and IT infrastructure are mission critical as broadcasters and content creators accelerate their transition toward distributed and hybrid production models, says Chris Merrill, Director, Product Management and Engineering, Panasonic Video and Audio Systems. At NAB Show 2026, Panasonic will demonstrate how our ecosystem approach leverages IP and IT as the foundation for modern workflows, unifying cameras, control, automation, and management into a future-ready production architecture.

Camera Firmware and Features

The Image Adjust Pro plug-in for Panasonic's Media Production Suite enables centralized remote management of up to 20 studio and PTZ cameras per license from a PC or tablet.

The AK-UBX100 4K Multi-Purpose Camera supports ST 2110, NDI, and SRT, and eliminates the need for traditional camera base stations. When paired with the AK-UCX100 4K Studio Camera and AW-UE160 4K PTZ Camera, it enables color matching and unified control within a single workflow.

Auto-focus capability for the AK-UCX100 is now available via firmware update and will expand to the AK-UBX100 in Q2 2026.

KAIROS Live Production Platform

KAIROS, Panasonic's IT/IP-based live production platform, will be demonstrated in a stage environment surrounded by LED displays. The platform supports multiple resolutions and LED displays of varying shapes and pixel pitches.

New Controllers

The AW-RP200GJ Remote Camera Controller supports up to 200 PTZ cameras, includes macro functionality for recording and storing camera operations, features a dual joystick, and supports enhanced IP connectivity. It is Panasonic's first remote camera controller to support macro functionality.

LUMIX Cameras

The LUMIX S1RII (44.3MP full-frame sensor) and LUMIX S1II (24.1MP sensor, 5.1K/4K recording) will be on display. The LUMIX GH7 mirrorless camera features a 25.2MP sensor, internal ProRes RAW, and 32-bit float audio recording.

AV Automation

The Auto Framing plug-in enables the AW-UE80 4K PTZ Camera to track subjects in real time. The WR-AV800 AV Processor supports up to four ceiling microphones and eight PTZ cameras. The AW-UE5 4K PTZ camera features ultra-wide-angle capabilities and NDI HX support for corporate environments.

NEP Group Partnership

Panasonic will announce a new strategic partnership with NEP Group at NAB Show 2026, showcasing a certified integration between NEP Platform and KAIROS that enables unified control and orchestration from a single interface.
