LYNX Technik Enhances greenMachine Features for HDR Evie+ and Testor Configurations

LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing interfaces, announces a feature-set update for two of the software applications in its award-winning greenMachine platform.

LYNX Technik takes the approach to continuously build on the usability and functionality of its products to offer its customers and partners enhanced features on its robust and high quality platforms.

The greenMachine HDR Evie real-time segmented and dynamic HDR to SDR converter application, now includes a quad-channel 3G SDI mode of operation. This mode of operation supplements the 4K UHD single channel operation that was part of the original feature set for HDR Evie . The HDR Evie HDR to SDR converter is especially suited to demanding and unpredictable content, with fast moving and high contrast images and conditions typically found in live sports and news broadcasts.

The greenMachine Testor, an audio & video test signal generator application, has been enhanced with an AV Sync Analyzer feature. This new feature measures and verifies audio and video timing and delays, which allows operators to identify mismatched AV timing and verifies whether audio channels have been swapped. The Testor is a 4K/UHD and quad-channel 3G SDI device that produces different types of signals and frequencies for a variety of in-studio and in the field purposes such as testing and troubleshooting.
