Netflix has unveiled today the official trailer of 1992, the new miniseries by acclaimed director lex de la Iglesia, and creator and screenwriter Jorge Guerricaechevarr a, a two-time Goya Award winner (Cell 211, The Laws of the Border, Sister Death), which will premiere on Netflix on December 13.
The new thriller from the director of The Day of the Beast will revolve around a series of mysterious murders that follow the same pattern: all the victims have been burned, and next to each body, a Curro doll-the iconic mascot of Sevilles Expo 92-appears.
The miniseries, directed by lex de la Iglesia, is a creation by him and Jorge Guerricaechevarr a, based on a script by Pablo T bar (Bandidos), and Jorge Valdano (Headless Chickens). It stars Fernando Valdivielso (Fanatic) and Marian lvarez (The Wound, The Unit), with Paz Vega (Sex and Luc a) and Carlos Santos (The Man with a Thousand Faces) completing the cast, among others.
Filmed in Madrid and Seville, 1992 is a Pokeepsie Films production for Netflix.
