How Storyblocks Works: Our Video, Image, and Audio Libraries

This September, we brought our three libraries together under one brand, Storyblocks. We still offer extensive and distinct video, image, and audio memberships but now we have a unified brand and millions of new Marketplace photos.

Even though we've changed our name, we still have three URLs (one for video, one for images, and one for audio). Some members have asked if the unified brand means that subscribers to one media type can access other Storyblocks media types. At this time, each media type is still a separate subscription. For example, Videoblocks-only members have access to the same massive video library as before, but not the image and audio libraries. Same for image-only and audio-only members. If you subscribe to more than one library, your access also remains the same to whichever media types you've signed up for.

Here's what you need to know about how Storyblocks works.

Videoblocks by Storyblocks:

Access to all the high-quality content you had before, including the Member Library and the Marketplace.

The same URL and login information you've always used.

No change to our terms and conditions.

We're still constantly adding new content to our libraries, so you'll always find fresh new content for all your video projects.

Audioblocks by Storyblocks:

Access to all the content you had before.

The same URL and login information you've always used.

No change to our terms and conditions.

We're still constantly adding new content to our libraries, so you'll always find fresh new content for all your audio projects.

For both Videoblocks and Audioblocks customers, you can log into your account by going to the same URL you've always used (Videoblocks.com or Audioblocks.com) and sign in as normal from there you're good to go!

Storyblocks images:

Storyblocks images was formerly called GraphicStock. Like with Videoblocks and Audioblocks, you can still log in with the username and password you used on your GraphicStock account, and we're offering the same great subscription model.

When we changed our name, we added a new feature called the image Marketplace. The Marketplace is where you can buy stock photos and more directly from the photographer or designer who created them. Members save 60% on images in the Marketplace.

Members still have unlimited downloads from the content you had on GraphicStock, now called the Member Library. You simply also have the option to buy millions more images at a steep discount from our artist contributors. Think of it as farm-to-table stock. And don't worry, we'll never take images from the Member Library and put them in the Marketplace. It's actually the reverse! We're always adding to our Member Library of images currently 400K strong and growing!

Worry-Free Licensing

For all of our properties, our license is still simple and straightforward. Anything you download is yours to keep forever-royalty-free. Members can use all of our content for commercial and personal projects. In fact, we just improved the terms of our license to make the creative workflow for members even easier.
