New Two-Way Driver Facilitates Seamless Integration of Autonomic Local and Streaming Audio Capabilities Into RTI Control Systems
SHAKOPEE, Minn. - March 12, 2014 - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has announced the availability of a new two-way driver for Autonomics popular Mirage Media Servers and Mirage Audio Systems. Developed by Autonomic, the new driver makes it simple for integrators to incorporate both local and streaming audio capabilities into RTIs cost-effective control systems, providing their clients with powerful control and interactive browsing functionality.
Offered in two-source and six-source versions, Autonomics Mirage Media Servers support high-definition local content, such as iTunes and WMP playlists, and the most popular streaming music services, including Pandora, Rhapsody, Spotify, TuneIn Radio, and more. Cloud-based synchronization ensures that a users entire library is with them wherever they go. For a complete audiophile-grade, multi-room audio solution, Autonomics Mirage Audio Systems packages a Mirage Media Server with a choice of Mirage Digital Amplifiers. Perfect for small residential systems to large commercial environments, the systems can support up to 96 individual zones of audio.
With the new two-way driver, users have an intuitive control interface that allows them to easily browse and switch between local and streaming content, create custom playlists, and even add new streaming service accounts on the fly. All of these features are further enhanced with the RTI control system, allowing the end user to also select the location they want to play music in, control the volume, and make adjustments to any other electronic systems in the home or commercial facility - all without having to switch user interfaces.
