HISPASAT increases by 4.2% total revenues in 2016 En este ejercicio, el operador satelital ha invertido 167,8 millones de euros, lo que reafirma su estrategia de crecimiento. La contrataci n de capacidad asegurada a largo plazo (back-log) se sit a en una cifra equivalente a 6,5 veces los ingresos anuales de la compa a, uno de los mejores del sector.
El operador espa ol de comunicaciones por sat lite HISPASAT ha alcanzado en el ejercicio 2016 una cifra de ingresos totales de 228,9 millones de euros, lo que supone un incremento del 4,2% respecto al ejercicio anterior. Los ingresos por capacidad espacial tambi n han experimentado un crecimiento, habi ndose situado en 225,5 millones de euros, un 4,2% m s que en 2015.
Por reas geogr ficas, el 35,4% de los ingresos por arrendamiento de capacidad espacial del grupo proviene de Europa y el norte de frica, mientras que el 64,6% se origina en el mercado americano.
La cifra de inversi n ha sido de 167,8 millones de euros, destinados principalmente a los programas satelitales en curso durante 2016: el sat lite Hispasat 36W-1, lanzado con xito el pasado 28 de enero, el Amazonas 5 y el Hispasat 30W-6 (lanzamientos previstos a lo largo de este 2017), as como a proyectos de innovaci n tanto en sat lites como en productos y servicios. Esta inversi n reafirma la apuesta de la compa a por continuar trabajando en su estrategia de crecimiento y hacer frente a los retos y oportunidades que se presentan en el mercado.
La compa a ha obtenido un beneficio de explotaci n consolidado de 99,9 millones de euros, un 8,1% superior al del ejercicio anterior, derivado del menor gasto en amortizaciones. El EBITDA ha alcanzado los 175,7 millones de euros, un 1,8% inferior al obtenido en 2015, y el margen operativo se ha situado en el 76,7%, manteniendo la alta rentabilidad de la compa a. Esta reducci n se debe al impacto de los gastos extraordinarios derivados de la contrataci n de un gap filler para adelantar la prestaci n de servicios desde la posici n 36 Oeste, hasta que llegue a su posici n el sat lite Hispasat 36W-1, y de las migraciones de servicios de clientes actuales a nuevos sat lites. Excluyendo el efecto de los extraordinarios, el margen de EBITDA ser a del 81,2%.
El beneficio neto, en t rminos homologables, ser a de 79,1 millones de euros, un 33,4% m s que en 2015. Los gastos extraordinarios descritos y la situaci n adversa de Hisdesat (participada por puesta en equivalencia que se ha visto condicionada por problemas de mercado y por la evoluci n de sus participadas) han impactado negativamente en los resultados de la compa a, cuyo beneficio neto ha sido finalmente de 25,1 millones de euros, un 59,9% inferior al obtenido en 2015.
El esfuerzo comercial realizado tambi n se ha traducido en la consolidaci n de un elevado back-log (contrataci n asegurada de capacidad satelital a largo plazo), que a cierre del ejercicio se sit a en una cifra equivalente a 6,5 veces los ingresos anuales de la compa a, lo que supone una cifra de 1.485 millones de euros, uno de los mejores del sector.
Para Elena Pisonero, presidenta de Hispasat, 2016 ha sido un ejercicio muy intenso en el que la compa a se ha enfrentado a diferentes retos y situaciones inesperadas pero, aun as , hemos conseguido superarlos positivamente y mantener el crecimiento en los ingresos. A pesar de la complicada situaci n que vive el mercado satelital, Hispasat contin a siendo uno de los operadores m s rentables y eficientes del sector.
