Wyandotte Municipal Services (WMS), a municipal non-profit service provider, has successfully deployed Synamedia Gravity, a cloud-based device management and service orchestration platform, to upgrade and scale its residential and small-to-medium business (SMB) broadband offerings. WMS, a non-profit utility serving the city of Wyandotte, Michigan for over 100 years, replaced its legacy platform with Synamedia Gravity to minimize dependency on proprietary hardware and increase optionality for future device and service upgrades.

This milestone marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of Synamedia Gravity, as it expands beyond its initial SMB deployments into the broader residential broadband market. The deployment at WMS executed in partnership with Advanced Media Technologies (AMT) and Heights Telecom underscores Synamedia Gravity's positioning as a flexible, open, and scalable platform designed to meet the needs of modern broadband providers. Synamedia Gravity's vendor-agnostic design enables WMS to manage both legacy and next-generation devices and advanced services through a single pane of glass, thereby reducing operational complexity and accelerating the time-to-market for new services.
