04 China Food Exposition opens on November 4

According to the organizing conference of 2014 China Food Exposition on November 4th, this exposition will be held at Ningbo International Convention Centre during November 14th to 17th. The year of 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of China Food Exposition in Ningbo, so it will witness an exposition with the biggest scale for last 10 years, the largest number of exhibitors and visitors as well as the highest international level. It is also worth mentioning that overseas food accounts for over 50% of all exhibits for this time.

It is said that 2014 China Food Exposition will set up 10 exhibition halls: 8 spot ones and 2 throughout the year. It boasts a total display space of 78,000 square metres with 3,900 international standard booths. Currently, all booths have been booked. Besides famous local brands such as Mengjie Food, Ala Rice Wine, Hengkang Food and Beidefu, this exposition embraces a crowd of leading food enterprises involving donkey-hide gelatine, Beidahuang Liquor and Gujingong Liquor from Changchun, Tianjin, Fujian Province, Hainan Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Guizhou Province.

Compared to previous ones, 2014 China Food Exposition is held at the highest international level. It is said that this exposition accommodates exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions including Taiwan China, Singapore and Malaysia. Among them, there are top-flight red wine enterprises from over 10 countries like France, Italy, Australia, America and Argentina. The 1st exhibition hall contains half famous import products; the 2nd exhibition hall is full of import food including red wine and dairy products; the 7th exhibition hall is exclusive for Taiwan food. Overseas food accounts for over 50% of all exhibits with the 2 perennial exhibition halls of import food attached.

In addition, a series of economic and trade activities will be held during 2014 China Food Exposition such as the Procurement Matchmaking Meeting for Large Chain Enterprises and the Procurement Matchmaking Meeting for Import Food in Bonded Zone. At present, over 300 chain hypermarkets (enterprises) from home and abroad have decided to participate including Metro, Tesco, Auchan, Zhongbai Holding Group co,. Ltd, Sanjiang Shopping Club co,. Ltd, Jiabei etc.
