Platinum-selling rapper AKA wowed Mzansi after releasing his genre-bending single, Lemons (Lemonade), featuring Nasty C on Friday 16 September. Reason, who is best known by his amapiano alias Sizwe Alakine, threw shots at AKA for the song's lyrics. The Khanda Shisa hitmaker said one of AKA's lyrics were problematic .

REASON FIRES SHOTS AT AKA OVER LEMONS (LEMONADE)' LYRICS Lemons (Lemonade) marks AKA's first single release ahead of his upcoming album, Mass Country. The 34-year-old rapper received high praise for the track from SA hip-hop fans. Taking to Twitter on Sunday 18 September, Reason expressed that he was not happy about a lyric in AKA's track.

Hearing AKA say: Thank God they showed they true colours/Switched up piano like vultures' is problematic to me. Especially from a hip-hop artist saying this on an Afro beat record. Like who you talking about exactly? Give me examples, wrote Reason.

In a second tweet he said: 031 Choppa, Big Zulu, Costa, Blxckie, Reason, Kwesta are all hip-hop artists who make piano. Does that line mean AKA considers all of us as vultures for that? Like? You make Afro beat records my n*gga.
