El World Club Dome de BigCityBeats, uno de los festivales m s importantes de m sica electr nica, se transmiti en directo mediante un sistema de producci n formado por varias c maras, en el cual se emplearon un mezclador ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K, una matriz de conmutaci n Smart Videohub y diversos conversores Teranex AV de Blackmagic Design.
El evento de tres d as convirti al estadio Commerzbank Arena de Fr ncfort en el mayor club nocturno del mundo, con un rea exterior de 700.000 m , m s de 20 escenarios, disc-jockeys internacionales y artistas visuales que proyectaron al ritmo de la m sica incre bles im genes y efectos pirot cnicos. En los ltimos cinco a os, BigCityBeats ha encomendado a VPS Media, especialista en coberturas en directo, la emisi n en vivo del festival por las pantallas situadas en el campo, adem s de la transmisi n continua en los sitios web de la productora y los artistas, as como en los canales de redes sociales.
Bj rn Assmus, de VPS Media, destaca que nuestro objetivo es difundir contenidos en alta calidad para cubrir los diferentes servicios que ofrecemos durante los eventos. De este modo, el espectador puede tener la misma vivencia, independientemente de si lo ve desde casa o est en el recinto. Para conseguir esto, confiamos en un sistema de nueve c maras y un equipo de transmisi n continua compatible con una gran cantidad de fuentes, elementos gr ficos y actuaciones de disc-jockeys y artistas grabadas previamente, a fin de que el responsable de producciones en directo pueda crear una experiencia inmersiva .
Seg n Bj rn, el n cleo de la din mica de trabajo para la agenda 2017 de VPS Media est constituido por una unidad de producci n port til con dos bastidores y diversos productos de Blackmagic Design. El sistema ten a que ser lo m s compacto y multifuncional posible, ya que los eventos que cubrimos son muy distintos , contin a. Sincronizar el c digo de tiempo y conseguir una latencia muy baja fueron aspectos fundamentales a la hora del dise o del equipo. La combinaci n del mezclador ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K con grabadores HyperDeck Studio Pro brinda la oportunidad de suplir las necesidades que requiere una transmisi n continua. Igualmente, nos permiti sincronizar de manera individual cada una de las se ales proveniente de las c maras, lo que nos permiti conseguir una gran precisi n y un resultado homog neo en posproducci n .
Teranex AV
Un elemento indispensable de la instalaci n de VPS Media fue el modelo Teranex AV. Instalamos cuatro dispositivos en el bastidor de control central, y en el festival direccionamos cuatro salidas auxiliares, a fin de asegurarnos la mayor flexibilidad posible , afirma Bj rn. Tanto la superficie audiovisual o el canal de televisi n del estadio como cada uno de los artistas ten an diferentes requerimientos para el formato de la se al, y las unidades Teranex AV funcionaron excelentemente y con la latencia m s baja. El p blico puede percibir de forma instant nea cada milisegundo perdido, de modo que esto era un punto cr tico que ten amos que abordar .
VPS Media tambi n emple la totalidad del contenido grabado para producir anuncios publicitarios y material editado tras los conciertos, con el objetivo de que BigCityBeats pueda utilizarlos en futuros eventos.
