Grammys 2023: Here's who will attend/ skip music's biggest nightFans are still gushing about a possible Grammy performance by Beyonce and Adele. See who will be attending and who will be skipping the event.

The music industry is gearing up with the first normal Grammy Awards week in three years. The first parties and events already kick of tonight and it will be a week of celebration leading up to the big night this weekend.

A-LISTERS ATTENDING AND SKIPPING THE GRAMMYS All eyes will be on the red carpet to see who will be attending and skipping the 65th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday 5 February. The event will be held at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.

According to Variety, all the best new artist nominees including Anitta, Omar Apollo, DOMi & JD Beck, Samara Joy, Latto, M neskin, Muni Long, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle and Wet Leg are expected to attend music's biggest night.

Doja Cat who is up for six nominations, Future, who is up for best rap album and Zach Bryan who is nominated for best country solo performance, will walk the red carpet and attend the show, but is not expected to perform, the publication reports.

Lady Gaga, who is up for two awards is not expected to attend as she is currently filming. Finneas, who is nominated for best song written for visual media is on tour in Australia and will according to Variety not to attend.

NO WORD YET ON ADELE AND BEYONCE AS PERFORMERS

Since the first round of performers have been announced, fans are counting the days to the big night.

According to Variety, there are 18 performance slots planned and Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Sam Smith and Kim Petras are set to rock the Grammys stage.

Variety reports rumours that DJ Khaled will also take the stage, possibly with Jay-Z. The duo's collaboration with Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend and Fridayy, is up for three awards including song of the year.

Fifty years of hip-hop will also get its own tribute curated by Questlove. Variety reports. The artist lineup will be announced in the coming days.

No word yet on whether fan favourites, Adele and Beyonce will perform. Adele who has Las Vegas residency, did however confirm her attendance, Variety reports.

No word yet on Queen B yet, but according to Variety, Swifties will have to contain themselves as Taylor will not be performing.
