VR specialist Zillah Watson joins Satore from...

Zillah Watson will head up virtual production and experiential content at Satore Studio after being appointed director of content and executive producer.

Led by Tupac Matir, Satore Studio uses technology and design to create virtual experiences and has supplied fashion runways, stages and sets.

Watson was commissioning editor for Virtual Reality at the BBC and headed up the BBC's VR studio. She was executive producer of a number of award-winning VR experiences and led a project to push VR out to more than 170 public libraries around the UK.

Zillah worked in broadcasting for more than 20 years before focusing on VR. Before leading the BBC's VR Hub, as Editor for BBC Research & Development, Zillah worked with technologists leading work on future content. She has authored research papers on VR with researchers Professor Mel Slater and Professor Anthony Steed at UCL and wrote a report on the field, VR for News: The New Reality, when she was a visiting fellow at the Reuters Institute for Journalism at Oxford University in 2017.
