FLIX foodimals lit up the SIGGRAPH 2014 booth At this years SIGGRAPH, we hosted the enigmatic Kris Pearn, director of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, on our booth.

At SIGGRAPH 2014, Kris Pearn captivated our audiences both at the show and on our live stream with his colorful presentation.

We were dazzled by Kris behind-the-scenes foodimal drawings and his adorable sketches, which illustrated his presentation. He took us into FLIX to show us how he created some of the popular characters and hilarious scenes from the hit film - Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2.

Foodimal competition winners In the run up to the tradeshow we ran a competition where entrees had the opportunity to pitch an original foodimal idea to Kris, for him to then draw live during his presentation and during our live stream on the site.

Kris enthusiasm was clearly infectious, the excitement spread from the booth in Vancouver to our audience online and we received lots of awesome suggestions through our Twitter and Facebook channels.

It was a tough choice and Kris couldnt pick just one, in the end he chose 4 winners!

All four winners got to see their foodimal drawn live by Kris, had it put into FLIX, and were sent a printed copy to keep.
